The company, under the direction of owner and operator Alec Cloke,
has been receiving soils and construction materials from both the
public and private sector — from projects such as o昀케ce towers,
underground parking structures, plazas and residential development
— from across the GTA.
In 2016, the company expanded services to 昀椀ll the gap and allow acceptable 昀椀ll from hydrovac trucks and small source operators, expanding safe disposal and economical solutions for projects of all sizes. The site intends to accept soil and liquid soil into the 2030s.
Typically, some 600 trucks per day are received at United Soils
Management, so approximately one truck per minute between 7 a.m.
to 5 p.m.

“We only sell tickets for approved sites, so in order to bring a load
here you almost always have to have submitted paperwork with soil
quality data,” explains Carolyn Adams, a professional engineer and
the environmental director at United Soils Management. “Potential
source sites are approved by a third party.”
