ONEIA’s Skip Willis Award Winner
LOGISTEC’s New President of Water & Environment
The Ontario Environment Industry Association
(ONEIA) presents the Skip Willis Memorial Award
annually to exceptional people working in the environment space in Ontario. The spirit of the award is
to recognize those who, like the late Skip Willis, have
gone above and beyond to promote collaboration between
the industry and government and is a true leader who demonstrates integrity, generosity, tenacity and a track record for raising awareness about the
environment sector in Ontario.
LOGISTEC, based in Montreal, Que., has announced the
appointment of Nathalie Viens as president of its water
and environment division. Viens brings a wealth of experience in leading global operations in a variety of industries,
including investment, asset management, consulting, engineering and construction, infrastructure and resources. She is
recognized for her expertise in transforming and executing corporate strategies that signi昀椀cantly improve operational e昀케ciency.
For 2024, the Skip Willis award was presented to Brandon Mo昀昀at, co-founder
and executive vice president of StormFisher Hydrogen, a cleantech leader
working to use under-valued resources to create better uses for these products.
“Nathalie’s deep experience in operational excellence and strategic vision
make her an ideal leader for our Water & Environment division,” stated Sean
Pierce, president and CEO of LOGISTEC, parent company of ALTRA | SANEXEN. “Her commitment to value creation and operational transformation will
be instrumental in driving ALTRA | SANEXEN’s growth strategy.”
Mo昀昀att, a long-time member and board member of ONEIA, has been a leader in
the development and construction of several complex organics processing and
anaerobic digestion sites as well as a dedicated contributor to the development
of policy and regulations in Ontario for waste diversion and renewable energy.
Viens holds an engineering degree and a master’s degree in chemical engineering, and is a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec. She is
also a certi昀椀ed director and PMP certi昀椀ed.
