IT’S IMPORTANT to take the time to share success stories and appreciate
hard working leaders in the industry — and the 25th Anniversary of the
Brownie Awards did just that, in style. Held in the heart of downtown
Toronto at the Delta Marriott in late 2024, the awards ceremony provided
a 昀椀tting atmosphere to celebrate the best in the business.
The Brownie Awards are presented in partnership with the Canadian
Brown昀椀elds Network (CBN) and Actual Media Inc., parent company of
Environment Journal.
This year, in honour of the silver anniversary, the award categories were
updated and a special edition 25th anniversary award was added to the
roster. Nominations were received from across the country revealing
a variety of remarkable projects, large and small, urban and northern.
Despite the roadblocks, risks and 昀椀nancial challenges of developing
brown昀椀eld projects, these project teams muster up a great amount of
perseverance to get the job done.
