With this in mind, we’ve decided to expand the Excess Soils Symposium
series and take it out west. Following a well-attended webinar presented in the summer, we conducted a survey to gauge interest and had a
healthy response. With the support of the Environmental Services Association of Alberta and the British Columbia Environment Industry Association, we’re planning events in Calgary and Vancouver respectively.
The enthusiastic community of industry stakeholders, government representatives, and environmental experts who step up on stage at the
symposium are always eager to dig into the issues, and symposium attendees are equally eager to engage and get the lowdown. This year the
Toronto edition sold out even sooner than last year.
During these days of political turmoil, misleading narratives and rolled
back environmental policies, a well-organized industry event with real
people and industry stakeholders can provide clarity and help to excavate important issues.
Let’s work together to alchemize resource recovery, so we can
attain terra 昀椀rma and sustain life as we know it for future generations.
